2009 memberships are now available at Westside Stores and at the meetings. 

If you have already picked up your new membership, you will have noticed once you have signed and paid, you are immediately issued your 2009 membership card. This will save the club postage and will allow for quicker forwarding of information to the BCWF. We are presently working with the BCWF on a process that will facilitate a speedier renewal of their memberships.

The Salmon Arm Fish & Game Club purchases $2,000,000 liability insurance for its members through the BCWF Group Coverage Plan. Proof of insurance is now required on some Limited Entry applications as well as by some private land owners. Your new card has the necessary policy number printed right on it.

To accommodate those of you who don’t live in the Salmon Arm area, we are including a membership form in this newsletter. Processing these forms will necessitate the mailing of your card, so please be patient with us. For everyone else, we would appreciate if you could renew in person at either Westside Stores or at a monthly meeting (third Thursday of each month). Due to the ever increasing insurance requirements, we must remind all members and guests that they must sign/log in when using the club facilities. For your convenience, we have numbered the membership cards, so that you don’t have to record your name, for obvious security reasons, just Record your MEMBERSHIP NUMBER in the sign in books, please. All Directors may at any time request to see your valid membership card while utilizing the club facilities, so please carry it on your person while using club facilities.
